It is our hope that everyone in the Alabama A&M family will find time to spend with loved ones and enjoy the season as it begins this week with the Thanksgiving holiday.  As the director of athletics, I feel especially compelled to thank all of our fans and supporters as we enter an exciting time for Bulldog Athletics.

I want to congratulate the volleyball team on its third straight SWAC Championship, and the football team on earning yet another berth into the SWAC Championship Game.  I am looking forward to seeing all the maroon and white at Legion Field on December 12.

Finally, I want to encourage our fans to make their travel plans and buy their tickets soon for the championship game, as there will be a lot of excitement and showing of support by our opponents from Prairie View, with this being their first trip to the SWAC title game.

Box Score / PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas -- Trailing 33-7 midway through the third quarter, Alabama A&M rallied with 20 straight points to close to within 33-27, but the Bulldogs would come up just short as Prairie View A&M held on for an important Southwestern Athletic Conference victory Saturday. Despite the loss which dropped the Bulldogs to 5-4 overall and 2-3 in the SWAC, A&M remains alive for a possible berth in the SWAC Championship Game.
