Welcome to the 2018 edition of the Alabama A&M's women's soccer Signing Day Central! Stay tuned throughout the day for up-to-the-minute information on the 2018 AAMU women's soccer signing class plus hear what head coach Emanuel Stephens has to say about the newest additions to the program.

"We have a great class coming to us this year," said Stephens. "We have a small group of key returners coming back, so we will have a big signing class in 2018, I feel this class is big on quality. They all play hard and understand the game. That's what we wants on The Hill: players who play hard and players who play smart. We are very excited for this class to get here and join the Bulldogs."

Why Alabama A&M University
As an African-American female it is an honor to attend Alabama A&M where I will be able to learn more about my background while playing a division one sport. I chose Alabama A&M because not only will I improve as a player I will also grow as a student. I am very thankful for my opportunity to attend Alabama A&M.

Play soccer.  I am excited about being a bulldog and look forward to making my mark to uphold the outstanding legacy the school currently has.  Go Bulldogs!

Why Alabama A&M University
I choose Alabama A&M University because I believe they would be more involved in my studies since it is a mid-size school compared to other universities, they have more individualized classes. Also, A&M is a Division I when it comes to soccer, a level I dreamed to play one day since it's experienced could teach me a lot of things and tools I could use one day to reach my dream of becoming a professional soccer player. Another great thing I personally love is their staff. A&M has a hardworking and passionate team, that supports and leads student-athletes to success on and off the field. Furthermore, they have majors I want to study, Audiovisual Communication and Graphic Design.

Why Alabama A&M University
I chose Alabama A&M University because of the opportunity Coach Stephens is giving me, to continue my education at the highest level and also let me play the sport I love and achieve my goal to compete at the collegiate level. Why Alabama A&M University
I chose Alabama A&M University because visiting the campus helped me fall in love with it and realize it was the place for me. The history of the campus, the feel of the environment and the community drew me in and attracted me. I have always wanted to go to a historically black college and university to be around people like me and to get more in touch with my background. Finally, I was given the opportunity to play soccer, the sport I love with a strong team and that was exactly what I was looking for.

I chose Alabama A&M because I really liked the environment and the size of the campus. I'm from a family of HBCU alumni. So I really wanted to get that HBCU experience, along with playing the sport I love. The players and campus staff were very welcoming and made me feel like I belonged.

Why Alabama A&M University
I had never really heard of Alabama A&M, since I'm from California I had only really paid attention to the schools around me. But, through NCSA I was able to come in contact with more coaches out of state. At first, when I saw Coach E's email I was shocked, everything started becoming official that I will be/am a collegiate soccer player. Once I visited the school I fell in love, the campus was clean, green, and friendly. After visiting the campus and watching the team play, I knew this was the place for me. The relationship Coach E developed with the girls was amazing, he made my visit one to remember and talked about key components that I had been searching for in a coach. I chose Alabama because it felt like home, and it felt like an environment I could strive in.

Why Alabama A&M University
I chose Alabama A&M University because it was a land of opportunity for me. Between being able to come close to making an impact as a physical therapist in the future studying Kinesiology and Biology, and having the opportunity to play D1 collegiate soccer Alabama A&M seemed like the perfect choice. The vibe I got from the campus and town around the school allowed me to make the decision to call Huntsville, Alabama my home for the next four years.
