Alabama A&M's hopes for a postseason berth in either the SWAC Championship Game or the NCAA Playoffs may have come to an abrupt end Saturday as the Bulldogs did little to help their cause with a 30-20 loss at Prairie View. Prior to kickoff, Jackson State ended A&M's chances to repeat as SWAC champions by beating Alcorn State and clinching the Eastern Division. But the Bulldogs could still have made a strong case to the NCAA selection committee with a 9-2 overall record. The loss, however, leaves AAMU at 8-3 and most likely on the outside looking in.
