The Alabama A&M University Department of Athletics extends our sympathy and condolences to the family of Head Football Coach James Spady over the death of his brother, the Rev. Herbert Bernard Spady of Longview, Texas.
The Rev. Spady passed away Thursday at his home. He was 60.
"We are saddened by the passing of Coach Spady's brother," said Director of Athletics Bryan Hicks. "We offer support and console to the Rev. Spady's family in their time of grieving. They are in our thoughts and prayers."
