ROUND 2 of 3 Results
Alexandria, La. - Those who know golf know the feeling Alabama A&M's Cody Calvert had Tuesday grinding his way around the same track that took him just 75 shots to complete on Monday's opening round. Calvert had one of "those" days Tuesday, carding a 97 and dropping from second place to 28th at the 2010 SWAC Men's Golf Tournament. As a team, the Bulldogs did much the same, totaling a 361 to fall into eighth place heading into Wednesday's final round.
Tre Miller fired an 80 on day two and was the lone highlight for the Bulldogs, who lost the services of Chantz Birch when he withdrew from the tournament before the start of the second round. With no room for error with the fifth member of the team no longer scoring, the Bulldogs were forced to count Calvert's 97, and rounds of 95 by Chance Wilson and 89 by Zach Mosely.
Play concludes Wednesday as teams begin play at Oak Wing Golf Club at 8:00 a.m.
