Alabama A&M alumnus Marcus Spencer is heading home to Chicago to play professional baseball. Spencer, who led the Bulldogs in 2009 in home runs (7), and RBI (25), has signed a contract to play with the Windy City Thunderbolts of the Frontier League. Spencer is originally from Blue Island, Ill., a suburb of Chicago, and played four seasons for the Bulldogs. In those four seasons, the outfielder hit .267 with 12 home runs and 61 RBI.
