After getting an emotional win against TSU on Sunday, the Bulldog Tennis team hoped to build on that against WKU and IPFW; however, both teams shut out the Bulldogs 7-0 on consecutive days.
The lone bright spot for the men was the inspired play of junior Stevon Walker against IPFW.
“Stevon played one of his better matches over the last couple of weeks,” coach Thomas Colvin said. “That’s the kind of effort that I hope all of the team can feed off of for the remainder of this season.”
The Bulldogs will face UAH on March 25 before going to Montgomery for the SWAC East Round Robin.
