NCAA VOLLEYBALL BRACKET / The NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Committee announced today the 64-team field for the 2009 NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship. Thirty-one conferences were awarded automatic qualification, and the remaining 33 slots were filled with at-large selections to complete the bracket. Alabama A&M will represent the Southwestern Athletic Conference and face #3 Florida State on Sat. Dec. 5 in Tallahassee, Fla.

"We are very excited to play Florida State," said head Coach Nedra Brown. "We will watch game film and start our preparation for the upcoming game immediately."

The Bulldogs finished with a 22-12 record, including a perfect 8-0 in the league. This marks A&M's ninth SWAC Championship in 10 years.
