Head coach Jeff McCorvey and the Alabama A&M women's bowling team enter this weekend's season opening SWAC Roundup in a familiar position, ranked among the nation's elite teams. The Bulldogs enter the season ranked 11th by the National Tenpin Coaches Association poll, one place ahead of fellow SWAC foe Southern. The national recognition has become commonplace to fans who follow the Bulldogs, who have been among the nation's top 10 programs over the last several seasons, including a second place finish at the national championships in 2006.
